Visual Arts Students Can Now Offer Engineering In Univ As Min. Of Educ. Launches One Year Pre-University Course for Non-Science SHS Graduates.

In a Facebook post, Minister of Education Doctor Osei Yaw Adutwum confirmed the launching or inauguration of a game Changer scheme for all Secondary Schools in the country.

According him, the game Changer is a one year pre- engineering program to train Secondary school graduates with non science backgrounds to pursue science related courses in tertiary institutions. He added that, this training will go a long way in equipping the students with potentials to enter into the university to pursue engineering courses. This will really help Visual Arts Students to go through this one year program to be prepared to offer Engineering Courses. Over the years visual arts students and other non science students have been unable to offer engineering and other related courses in the university due to their requirements. This one year course is therefore a huge game changer for the education sector.

He emphasised that, the program is targeting about 60% of engineering enrollment in the University of Mines and Pentecost University of Ghana.

Indeed, if this program commences, all Senior High students with the desire to grow in field of engineering shall be sorted out.

The Ministry of Education is responsible for rolling out programs in link with the Ghana Education Service. Doctor Osei Yaw Adutwum has distinguished himself to serve and Indeed he is doing well.

Agogo Presbyterian women's college of education has organised its 13th congregation ceremony on Saturday 22nd May, 2021 at the college auditorium. The Omanhene of the Domeabra Traditional Area, Nana Baffour Owusu Bediako has asked government to work hard to improve Internet connectivity nationwide, especially in the rural areas in order to achieve it’s digitalization agenda.
